"Let 'em Know How You Feel"
iRate is a public scoreboard for American politics. Every sitting member of Congress, every state governor, the President and the cabinet — each one rated on a nine-point emoji scale by anyone who wants a say, and each one carrying their actual legislative record alongside the verdict.
The record is not decoration. We assemble a full vote corpus directly from senate.gov, clerk.house.gov and api.congress.gov — every member's position on every roll call we track, absences included — and compute our own analysis from it. That means we can answer questions a politician's own page cannot: who breaks from their party most, which state delegations vote as a bloc, how many introduced bills actually become law, and how much of a chamber's time goes to procedure rather than passage.
Every figure is recomputed when the data refreshes, and every page states what it excludes and why. Read the methodology first if you would rather know how a number is produced before trusting it.
Rating takes one tap. Find a politician by name, state or branch, pick the emoji that matches how you feel about them, and your verdict joins everyone else's into a running score called the iRating.
