She voted against the military construction and veterans affairs spending bill, the consolidated appropriations act, a surveillance authority extension, a retail crime bill and a children's online safety act — five completed measures her caucus carried. She voted for a war powers resolution, a fuel retailing bill and an amendment, none of which succeeded.
The online safety vote is the one to sit with, given her post. The senior Democrat on communications and technology declining a bill about children and the internet is a position rather than an accident, though the record here cannot say what the position was.
