The other filings are notably specific: fair access to red snapper in the south Atlantic; adding certain firearms bureau employees to the statutory definition of fire protection workers so they qualify for illness compensation; removing barriers to work for disabled Americans; and redesignating a mounds site as a national park. The compensation bill is the sort of provision that exists because a category of worker was doing hazardous work without the legal status that goes with it.
