Establishes regional state-level building codes for modular and factory-built structures, preempting inconsistent local codes to reduce barriers to off-site construction of homes. - CO SB25-003 — Semiautomatic Firearms & Rapid-Fire Devices (Signed into law, Apr 10, 2025)
Requires a special permit (county-sheriff vetting, safety class, exam) to purchase semiautomatic firearms that accept detachable magazines; prohibits sale of rapid-fire conversion devices (bump stocks, binary triggers). Effective August 2026.
